The following iatrogenic disorders are speculated to be related to PSSD due to either similar symptoms or to being brought on by the same class of medication. An underlying link between these disorders cannot currently be confirmed.
Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD) presents symptoms that can be described as opposite to the symptoms of PSSD. However, PGAD can also be triggered by antidepressant use, indicating that there may be a neurological link between the two disorders. Read more
Post-Finasteride Syndrome (PFS) is a disorder thought to be related to PSSD and perhaps stem from similar drug effects on neurotransmitter receptors. PFS affects people who have taken the anti-hair-loss drug finasteride, which can lead to persistent sexual, neurological and physical effects. Read more
